The LED Standard Limited Warranty (“Warranty”)

The LED Standard Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by PioneerLED Manufacturer LTD (“PioneerLED”) for Video Walls and LED Scrolling Signs featured in the offer. PioneerLED guarantees, to the original registered end user customer purchasing new PioneerLED Products covered by this Warranty, that commencing from the date of PioneerLED’s initial shipment, the Product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for uo to 5 years under normal use and maintenance. The Warranty includes 24×7 emergency phone support and, if applicable, the advanced shipment of replacement parts.

The exclusive remedy for the customer under this limited warranty, at PioneerLED’s discretion, is the repair or replacement of any component part or Product, as outlined in this warranty. Replacement parts or Products may be new or refurbished.

Repair & Replacement General Process:

Upon discovering a problem with the Product, Customer will follow the procedures below:

  1. The Customer or its authorized dealer contacts PioneerLED Technical Support via email or phone (refer to PioneerLED Contact Information below).
  2. Provide the model number, serial number, and original proof-of-purchase. Include the serial number, product model number, purchase date, description of the problem, and troubleshooting steps already attempted.
  3. PioneerLED Technical Support will attempt to resolve any minor issues through troubleshooting. If PioneerLED cannot resolve the problem and confirms the likely applicability of this Warranty, PioneerLED Technical Support initiates the Warranty process for the defective part, which may be repaired or replaced. Replacement parts may be sent to the Customer before the defective part is returned to PioneerLED (“Advance Replacement”).
  4. If applicable, the Customer will:
    • Return only the defective part or Product.
    • Return the part or Product to the repair location specified by the PioneerLED Service Representative.
    • The Customer is responsible for all return shipping charges, including but not limited to freight charges, taxes, duties, and insurance.

Advance Replacement:

If PioneerLED Technical Support deems Advance Replacement appropriate:

  1. PioneerLED will dispatch the Advance Replacement via ground shipping (or the most economical shipping method). The customer is responsible for any additional charges incurred for alternative shipping methods.
  2. Upon receiving the replacement part or Product, the customer should inspect the packaging and materials for shipping damage. Any damage should be promptly reported to the carrier and/or the PioneerLED Service Representative.
  3. If applicable, the customer has 30 days from the date of receiving the Advance Replacement to return the defective part or Product to the agreed-upon address. Failure to do so within this timeframe will result in an invoice, and the customer must pay the prevailing market price of the Advance Replacement within 30 days from the invoice date. We retain the right to deny warranty service for past-due accounts.

Warranty Restrictions:

The PioneerLED Standard Limited Warranty does not cover or is constrained by the following:

  1. Products not acquired from PioneerLED, including those that have been resold, transferred, rented, leased, lost, stolen, or discarded.
  2. Products with defaced, modified, or removed serial numbers.
  3. Costs associated with renting temporary replacement products.
  4. Malfunction of any third-party software or accessory.
  5. Up to 1% of not working or miscoloured diodes.
  6. Labor or travel costs related to installation, setup, repair, adjustment to display settings, removal, reinstallation, or other services.
  7. Products physically uninstalled and moved unless handled by PioneerLED Professional Services.
  8. Damage, deterioration, or malfunction resulting from:
    • Accidents, abuse, misuse, neglect, improper ventilation, cooling, adverse environments (e.g., dust), fire, water, lightning, acts of nature, smoke exposure (cigarette or otherwise), unauthorized product modification (if applicable, including the use of an unauthorized mount), failure to follow supplied instructions, or operating the Product outside the suggested normal usage.
    • Installation, removal, disassembly, reassembly, upgrade, repair, or attempted repair by anyone other than PioneerLED. Use of supplies or parts not meeting PioneerLED’s specifications. Opening the chassis by untrained personnel, tampering with internal circuitry, or removing/replacing any internal components or parts of the Product.
    • Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
    • Normal wear and tear.
    • Customer-induced defects, including but not limited to: (I) misuse or damage to drivers, disks, or connectors, or software corruption; (II) damaged LEDs resulting from hitting the edge or scratching along the front; or (III) failure to follow maintenance procedures.
    • Any non-uniformity caused by long-term operation of the video wall with heavily contrasting static content.
    • Any other cause unrelated to a defect in material or workmanship.

Miscellaneous Return Issues:

  1. In the event that a returned part or Product is identified as a No Fault Found (“NFF”) unit or is determined to be excluded from this Warranty, PioneerLED retains the right to invoice the Customer for any costs incurred by PioneerLED.
  2. The customer is responsible for appropriately packaging the defective Product and sending it to the address specified by the PioneerLED Customer Service representative. If the defective Product is inadequately packaged and sustains damage during transit back to PioneerLED, the customer may be charged for either repair costs, if feasible, or the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of a replacement product.
  3. Shipment delivery time and availability may vary based on destination. PioneerLED cannot deliver to PO Box and APO/FPO Box addresses.
  4. The customer agrees to retain the replacement part or Product delivered by PioneerLED, and the returned defective part or Product becomes the property of PioneerLED.

Exclusion of Other Warranties:

PIONEERLED PROVIDES NO WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, EXCEPT THOSE EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THIS DOCUMENT. PIONEERLED EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF TITLE, NONINFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

PIONEERLED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY VERBAL OR WRITTEN WARRANTIES OR ASSURANCES MADE BY A PIONEERLED EMPLOYEE OR AUTHORIZED PIONEERLED DEALER/DISTRIBUTOR THAT CONFLICT WITH OR ENHANCE THE WRITTEN WARRANTY IN THIS DOCUMENT.

Limitation of Liability; Exclusion of Damages:

PIONEERLED’S MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO REPLACEMENT WITH A SIMILAR NEW OR REFURBISHED PRODUCT. PIONEERLED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY OR FOR DAMAGES BASED UPON INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, ANY LOSS, CORRUPTION, OR MISUSE OF DATA OR OTHER INFORMATION, INTERFERENCE WITH BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS, OR OTHER COMMERCIAL OR FINANCIAL LOSS, EVEN IF PIONEERLED IS AWARE OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND EVEN IF A REMEDY HAS FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

PIONEERLED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF DAMAGES, WHETHER THE CLAIM IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, PRODUCT LIABILITY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY.

PIONEERLED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM AGAINST THE CUSTOMER BY ANY OTHER PARTY. NOTHING IN THIS WARRANTY LIMITS OR EXCLUDES ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

Effect of Local Law and Warranty Revisions:

This limited warranty provides specific legal rights, and additional rights may be available depending on local laws. Some localities may not permit limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations and exclusions mentioned above may not be applicable to you.

This LED Standard Limited Warranty is applicable only to Products purchased on or after the effective date of this Warranty. PioneerLED reserves the right to modify the terms of this Warranty, with such changes being effective for Products purchased on or after the revised warranty’s effective date.
